Backed Up Weddings X 4

Hello All: Okay, this blog is once again getting way behind and backed up. Over the last 2 weeks I have personally DJ'ed for 4 amazing couples. Over the last 14 days I've also had the pleasure of working with some great photographers, videographers and venue's. For the sake of time, this simple blog post is just a listing of where I've been and who I've worked with, plus a random pic of my boys on Fathers' Day.

Just a little behind.

Hello All: Okay, I have come to terms with the truth. I am in no way a good blogger, but at least I try. The past two and a half weeks have been pretty busy for me and my family. Not only have I DJ'ed at four weddings in three weeks but I have also squeezed in a trip to Disney with my family. If you do the math, that is one weekend off and two weekends with back-to-back weddings. With all the crazy activity I failed to take enough good photo's at each of the weddings I DJ'ed but I also failed at keeping up with their individual wedding blog posts. So here is a mish-mash quick catch up of four weddings and a funeral, err, I mean a trip to Disney (which was super fun with my family and well needed.)

Over the past 4 weddings I got to work at some great venue's and some amazing vendors.

Here are the venues:

Windows On The River (CityView Room)
Carrie Cerino's
The Renaissance (Gold Room)
The Bertram Inn & Conference Center

...and the super fun vendors:

Memory Productions
Bishop Photography
Mystic Image
Terra Sol Studio

Oh, and here are some Random iPhone photos of the last 4 weeks:

June is here! Happy summer everyone.

RAD Photo Booth Style

Hello All: A few weeks back we held a surprise 60Th Birthday Party for my father (happy birthday dad) and Rob Drago from RAD Photography totally hooked me up with a Photo Booth to capture the moments of the evening. I think all 160 guests had a chance to make silly faces at Papa Jones. It was a good time. Here's one of my favs. Me, Mason & Maddox.

It never gets old

Hello All: The little things will never-ever get old. I always forget that my youngest son (Maddox) is featured on the home page of Genevieve Nisly's web site. Check him out. It catches me off-guard when I go to her site to check up on her blog-posts and I'm greeted by my smiling son. I wish his curly hair was still that big! Okay, back to work! Happy Holidays Everyone.

Maxin' and Relaxin'

Hello All: The past 5 days have been amazingly relaxin'. I have done nothing but sit on the beach with my boys, hang with old friends, play solitare, rummy, read a book and barefoot (water ski). I was not in the mood to take pics or even turn on the puter until I got home an hour ago and realized it's back to reality on Monday morning. Now that I sit here and type this (wife is napping again *vacation = sleep time for wifey*) I am realizing how much I hate getting back to normal. What a downer.

Oh well. I wonder how much of a downer it will be when we finally make it to Hawaii for two weeks and then have to come back to reality, maybe that's why most couples who go to Hawaii do it during retirement...so they don't have to have that feeling. I guess we'll wait until then as well. The laundry just buzzed...time to fold. Enjoy your lazy Sunday afternoon.

Delayed Weekend Recovery

Hello All: Okay, so it is now a week after the much anticipated weekend of June 6Th and I am still not fully recovered, or maybe that was the wedding I DJ'ed last night @ The Hyatt? Last weekend was by far one of the best and most entertaining weekends I have had in a very long time. The combination of Mason's first Tee Ball Game, my good buddy's rehearsal dinner, Wedding ceremony & reception and then the most perfect day at the cottage with my bestest friends in the whole world really made for one hell of a tiring weekend. My mind and body are still paying for all the "fun" we had. Here are some pretty quick pics from last weekend. Enjoy! I have to get ready for two more weddings this weekend. Wish me luck! Tonight @ Botanical Gardens and Sunday at the Ritz. - Be sure to party like it's 1999!

Perfect day at Chippewa Lake. (Maddox & Mason)

Weekend Anticipation! I love it!

Hello All: This upcoming weekend is going to be killer. Starting with my best friends (Dan & Rina Luzius) flying in from Seattle on Friday morning @ 6:15am. - Then it's a rehearsal dinner for one of our best friends Adam Pidcock who is marrying to the most perfect girl for Adam! Sara is definitely his match made in heaven. The wedding is on Saturday and I am helping them with their music as a thank you for Adam helping me six years ago at my wedding with the food. (Adam grew up a catering man) Then on Sunday, Denise, Mason, Maddox, Rina & Dan Luzius and I are heading southbound for some summer fun at our cottage on Chippewa Lake. Plus it's mom Mom's birthday! Yay - Cake and Ice Cream! - I love weekends like this...I can't wait. Pics to come for sure, if I remember! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

A very busy, long holiday weekend!

Hello All: This memorial weekend has been a busy one. It started on Friday when we had a few visitors in from Arizona (Chris, Dana & Caiden) and a mini Cavs game party (what a game - what a shot!). Saturday morning was a paint ball battle at Synergy Field for one of my closest friends (Adam) bachelor party. Then I raced out to Mooreland Mansion for a fantastic little wedding reception for Janessa Mitchel and Tim Therion. The reception was small, intimate and classy. It was a superb event from start to finish with BCR Photography capturing the images of the night. After the reception I made my way out to the "after bachelor party" for Adam at Prices Pub in Westpark. Sunday was a new day and yet another 5th Birthday party for Mason, this one was at our house. Then the Cavs lost, damn - what a bummer. Memorial Monday was a the "standard" trip to Chippewa but we mixed it up a bit with a Relay For Life slushy sale (we made $82.00) and of course another 5th Birthday Party for Mason Jones. Now it's a 11:00 PM on Sunday Night and I just fell asleep in my chair typing this little blog post up. So here's a few wedding pics from Saturday Night @ Mooreland Masion. Thanks for reading and I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Weekend. God Bless our fallen soldiers!

Saturday Night @ Chilis

Hello All: This past Saturday I had a night off from DJ'ing weddings and Denise and the boys wanted to hit up our favorite restaurant - Chili's. Their fresh chips and salsa is the only food all four of us really love. My favorite order at Chili's is "off the menu" - Ask for the "Nacho Burger" - It's amazing! - YUM!

A day at the bay: Castaway Bay!

Hello All: This weekend the whole family took our yearly trip to Castaway Bay in Sandusky. Thanks to my parents (Ed & Randi) we all got to enjoy awesome water park fun and nearly 80 degree temperatures' during this cold winter March month. We started this tradition 4 years ago and Ed & Randi treat the whole "Jones Clan" as a Christmas present. If your all looking for a good break from the cold be sure to check out the many indoor water park options in Sandusky: Castaway Bay, Great Wolf Lodge or Kalahari. They are good fun for the whole family! Lots of water park rides, restaurants, snack shops and activities for you to enjoy. I suggest you go from a Thursday to a Friday. The crowds are a lot less then and the lines to ride the slides are much easier to take. This year Mason finally made it to 42" tall and he could ride the Rendezvous Run tube slide with me. It was super cool. He made sure to "humm" in the tunnels so that water would not get in his nose and mouth. It was so cute! I can't wait till next year. Well I'm off to enjoy a Saturday evening off. Until next time, Surfs up Dude! "Rock it & Lock it".

Here are a few pics of our adventure:

Jumpy!

Hello All: Well now that the temperature in Cleveland has finally decided to be above freezing for a change Mason & Maddox thought it would be a good day for the jumpy! - It's always good to let out a little energy. The jumpy barely fits in our family room! :) - Time to get ready for a wedding @ The House of Blues tonight. Good fun!

Maddox 3rd Birthday Party

Hello All: This past Saturday we had a birthday party at our house (family only) to celebrate the big #3 for Maddox...which actually does not occur until Wednesday the 28Th @ 2:09 PM. Thanks to everyone who came, ate, played and brought little "m" presents. Congrats to Grandma Rosenlieb for winning the Wii Bowling Tournament. Out of 18 competitors she won it all...and a $15.00 Gift Card to McDonald's for all her hard work. A couple of birthday style pics.

Dentist Day!

Hello All: Well, on Friday morning the boys had to visit the dentist for a check up and cleaning. I was a bit worried how they would handle things but the whole process went way better then I expected. Dr. Gindi is an amazing pediatric dentist. He is so good with this kids and his office and staff are top notch. Visit his web site: http://www.summitspecialists.com/. Below are pictures of both Mason & Maddox after a successful visit. On a side note: Dr. Gindi's wife - Marissa, also works at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel in the Catering/Events department. We all know Marissa very well from being in the wedding "biz". What a small world! They are good people.

Cavs game with friends! - We Win!

Hello All: Last night Denise and I attended the Cavs game with two of our bestest friends: Adam & Sara. YAY. I love last minute surprises. Adam called Wednesday morning and said he had two extra tix (and these seats are SWEET: right behind the Cavs Bench, 11 rows up). The game was great and so were the Nacho's, Hot Dog & Hot Pretzel. I learned something new about Sara last night too: She likes to "pre-dip" her chips in the cheese to get them a bit soggy! HAHAH. The best part of the whole evning: The Cavs continue their home win streak and clobbered the Bobcats 111-81. Go Cavs. THANKS ADAM & SARA! - Your the best.

Wii - Good Fun!

Hello All: So, my awesome wife got me a Wii for Christmas. It's the bestest X-mas gift ever. We also just picked up a Wii Fit for some extra fun! - Even the boys love it. Check out Maddox out for a run on the Wii Fit.
